Up to now, China has become the world's largest TN/STN LCD panel production base as well as the main production base of CSTNLCD-LCD panel.
The number of global TN/STN/CSTNLCD-LCD panel production lines had amounted to 198 by the end of 2004, in which 146 production lines were in mainland China.
By the end of 2005, mainland China had owned 24 CSTNLCD production lines.From the market share of manufacturers of below 4.5-generation CF applied in TFT LCD in the world, Japanese manufacturers occupy 78% and have a stable profitability level; Taiwan CF manufacturers yet have been in the loss state in recent two years.
