The year of 2006 witnessed a vigorous resuscitation in construction machinery industry with the growth speed completely exceeding the anticipation at the year beginning.
According to the statistics from Jan to Sep of 2006, the growth rate of the industry's sales revenue, total profit and export was up by 34.12%, 121.34% and 48.62% respectively over the same period of 2005.
Considering from the segmented products, the sales amount of forklift trucks, cement machinery, scraping and transporting machinery and compaction machinery was increased by 36.42%, 24.15%, 23.79% and 8.55% separately.Over the past decade, the development of China construction machinery industry mainly benefited from the investment in fixed assets.
And the growth in export was also one of the main factors to boost the industry.During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, China's investment in fixed assets will still remain a high level and, the infrastructure construction projects, especially the major projects will directly boost the industry growth.
It is estimated that in the year of 2007, the sales revenue of China construction machinery industry will keep a growth rate of 20%-25%, and the export business will still maintain a rapid growth.
